Several factors such as hair density, body region and the diverse hair colors within the treatment area.
The number of sessions will vary depending on the clients expectations! Approximately 7-8 treatments are required each booked 4-8 weeks apart to ensure all stages of growth are treated. Results using the "Apogee Elite Laser System" are permanent on properly treated follicles that are producing hair during the course of treatment. 
Because Laser Hair Removal is only effective on actively growing hair follicles, treatments should be spaced apart so that the hair follicles that were not in the active growing phase in the area have time to re-grow again before being treated.
​If the treatment is given to soon, that particular treatment will not be effective. During the consultation, we will explain and create the adequate schedule for the treatment to be carried out.

​To be on the safe side: 

• You should avoid sun exposure or sunless tanning products for 4 to 6 weeks before treatment. That's because a tan or sunless tanning products increases the risk of blistering and discoloration after treatment. 
• Shave the area two days prior to treatment (hair no longer than 1 mm) before each session. 
• Don’t bleach the hair for 2 - 3 weeks prior as this can irritated the skin. 
• Don’t tweeze, electrolysis or wax hair trim heavy growth to a stubble. 
• Do not tan the area or use self-tanning creams for 3 weeks prior. 
• Medications causing photosensitivity such as Retin A, Accutane, should be discontinued for three month prior to initial treatment. ​

• Avoid strenuous exercise immediately for after treatment. Walking is encouraged. 
• Avoid hot bath, shower or tub soaking immediately after treatment.
• Avoid sun exposure  
• Protect your skin with SPF 30+
